Grow Box in class
A living garden on the desk, not in a textbook
We bring Grow Boxes to schools and kindergartens across Moldova - small vertical farms the kids run themselves, with LED light and no dirt.
Harvested by the kids
Kids sow, watch and cut their first harvest with their own hands. Living greens, roots and all, a step from the desk - not 2,000 km away.
Green all year
LEDs don't do seasons, so the classroom garden grows in January too. A project that lasts from the first bell to the last.
What the kids learn
21st-century farming, from the very first leaves
- How food grows. They see the whole journey, seed to leaf, and understand early on where the food on their plate comes from.
- Living science. Light, water and nutrients become a hands-on lesson - biology and technology you can touch, not just read about.
- Care and patience. A living plant needs attention every day. Kids learn responsibility by watching something grow because of them.

What teachers want to know
What does a Grow Box need in the classroom?
Just a power socket and a bit of curiosity. Everything grows under LED, in clean water, without soil - so no dirt to manage and no mess on the desks.
What do the kids grow in it?
Lettuce, microgreens and herbs - living greens they can cut and taste themselves. The same varieties we grow at our 5 vertical farms in Chișinău.
What ages does it suit?
Kindergarten to high school. The little ones watch the leaves appear; the older ones dig into the science behind it - light, water, nutrients. Write to us and we'll fit the project to your group.
Do you work with NGOs or programs?
Yes. We've already brought Grow Boxes to schools across Moldova and we work with education partners. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll build the program together.
